Victor’s fencing vest from A Spy in the House of Love is currently up for auction here on eBay. It’s currently up to $112.50 and there are about 20 hours left, so be sure and check it out soon if you’d like to place a bid. Thanks to Alex for the link.
On Dollhouse, Enver Gjokaj was a standout as Victor, one of the many dolls working (or enslaved?) alongside Echo (Eliza Dushku). Gjokaj quickly proved to be amazingly versatile, and deftly handled any accent, mannerism or dramatically different character the show threw at him – including a couple of very notable times when he was called on to play other characters on the series.
With Dollhouse over, Gjokaj has a new project – an original comedy webseries called Previously on Point Dume (check out the first episode below).
On the heels of having just filmed a guest appearance on Lie to Me, Gjokaj spoke to me about Previously on Point Dume, how the webseries came together, his thoughts on the end of Dollhouse and more.

Screencaps of Enver’s performances in episodes 2.12 and 2.13 are now available in the gallery for your viewing pleasure. It stinks that the show has come to an end, but at least they got to finish out a great season. Enjoy the new additions and look for more updates to be added over the coming weeks.
The ultra-versatile Enver Gjokaj. I can’t remember exactly when Mr. Gjokaj’s prodigious talent for becoming different people first started becoming one of my favorite things about Dollhouse — it sort of sneaked up on me, maybe because he was the Russian gangster guy for too long in season one. But especially this season, Enver Gjokaj has become the show’s MVP, effortlessly able to become a serial killer, a sexy girl, the suave Roger, Laurence Dominic, a Rossum Corp. asshole… and most of all, a duplicate Topher. Dollhouse may have been created for Eliza Dushku, but the show’s basic premise was really made for Enver Gjokaj.
Priya’s painting from Belonging is being auctioned off on eBay and all proceeds will go to Children’s Hopsital Los Angeles. Click here to view all the information on the auction. It’s way out of my price range already, but good luck to the lucky winner of the auction. They’ll be getting a beautiful piece of art and helping a worthy organization.
I’ve just updated the gallery with screencaps of Enver’s performance in episode 2.11 Getting Closer. I thoroughly enjoyed this week’s episode, but did not see those big shock moments coming at all. Craziness! I can’t believe there are only 2 episodes left in the season.
Over at My TV we live and breath Joss Whedon. Ask any of our writers and I would bet that at least two of his shows are in the top 10 on all of our lists.
For me, Buffy and Angel will always hold the top spot (the only non-Whedon series coming close would be Six Feet Under) and Firefly definitely earns a spot in my favorites, but up until recently Dollhouse’s position wasn’t so secure.
With a premature cancellation, I found myself watching less and less of Whedon’s newest offspring. But throw in a winter vacation and some intense alone time and I’m almost caught up. Well, Whedon you’ve done it again: I’m overwhelmingly hooked. It’s a shame that Dollhouse only has a few episodes left because I really could see this show growing. The only flaw at the moment is the speedy plot which was clearly done to bring some sort of closure to the series.

I updated the gallery a couple of days ago with screencaps of Enver’s performance in episode 2.10 The Attic. Enjoy!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful 2010.
I updated the gallery yesterday with screencaps of Enver’s fantastic performance in episode 2.09 Stop-Loss. It was quite neat to finally find out who Victor, or should I say Anthony, really is, wasn’t it?
Screencaps of episode 2.10 will be added within the next few days as well.
